The performance of a standard factory T-MAX is severely limited by the size of the OEM air box and velocity stacks which are intended to reduce the noise created by the aspiration itself.
The Jetprime enlarged air box was created to compensate for the lack of air volume especially when other modifications have been made to the T-MAX.
With the Jetprime air box you will have the same benefits as the classic modification where the air box has been removed and a car air filter has been fitted above the velocity stacks but in this way the engine makes an incredible noise and the air filters need constant cleaning and maintenance to prevent the engine from taking in dirt.
The Jetprime air box overcomes and eliminates these problems. It is also possible to change and replace the OEM velocity stacks with great ease.
The size of the Jetprime velocity stacks are larger than the OEM fitted units (roughly 50% bigger) giving an increase in power of 2-3bhp to the engine and a much fuller bodied acceleration.
